Returns & Refunds

At Muju, every piece is carefully handcrafted in our Cheshire workshop. Because of the made-to-order nature of our furniture, our returns policy differs slightly between standard and customised items.


Made-to-order & bespoke items

Most Muju pieces are made specifically for you.

This includes:

  • Custom sizes

  • Custom paint colours

  • Bespoke specifications

Because of this, made-to-order and customised items are non-returnable and non-refundable, unless they arrive faulty or damaged.


Standard items

If you have purchased a standard item without bespoke changes, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery, provided:

  • The item is unused

  • It is in its original condition

  • It is returned in the original packaging

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.


Damaged or faulty items

We take great care in both making and packaging your furniture. However, if your item arrives damaged or develops a fault:

We will always work with you to put things right — whether that’s a repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate.


Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method.

Please allow a few working days for your bank or card provider to process the refund once it has been issued.


Order cancellations

As each item is made to order, cancellations may not be possible once production has begun.

If you need to make a change to your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.
